Along with our husbands, we met in early 2017 at a birth class at the hospital. Our babies were due just a few days apart, and our friendship grew through the comradery of being new parents together. Eventually we began talking about the lack of modern, affordable furnishings in our quickly growing town, and out of those discussions Furn was born. Christine and Lindsey’s design styles complement each other perfectly adding a touch of traditional to the mountain modern we’re seeing out west.
Lindsey was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana and had an affinity for design from a young age. While most girls her age were reading The Babysitter Club, she spent her free time thumbing through house plan magazines. Fascinated with floor plans, she worked diligently on countless renditions of her ‘dream home’. Stewart later went on to receive a Masters Degree in Architecture from Montana State University and has worked as an architect since. With each of her architecture positions, she found her niche within firms was in the interiors side: specifying finishes, designing interior elevations, and working on lighting and furniture plans. Lindsey is married to a very talented architect, Shea, and together they have a rambunctious 1 year old son, Arlo. They love Bozeman and the family-friendly lifestyle it affords.
Christine hails from the East Coast (North Carolina to be exact) and moved out west after college. She landed in beautiful Big Sky Country by way of Boulder, CO. Christine’s background lies in Finance and Accounting, but she recently decided to pursue her longtime passion for interior design. When Lindsey suggested they partner up to bring a fresh design vibe to the Bozeman area, Christine had no hesitation in jumping on board. Christine’s husband, Patrick, is a Realtor and together they have a son, Graham, and a little girl on the way in 2019!
